Introducing Pay-As-You-Go Credits
We just shipped Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) credits for RequestHunt. You can now buy credit packs that never expire and work alongside any subscription plan.
Why PAYG?
Not every workflow fits a monthly subscription. Maybe you run a deep scrape once a quarter. Maybe you hit your monthly limit during a busy sprint and need a top-up. Or maybe you just want to try the API on the Free plan without committing to Pro.
PAYG credits solve all of these. Buy what you need, when you need it. No recurring charges, no expiration dates.
How It Works
We offer three credit packs:

PAYG credits sit alongside your subscription. When your monthly subscription credits run out, PAYG credits kick in automatically — no interruption, no manual switching. If you're on the Free plan, PAYG credits extend your 100 monthly credits for as long as your balance lasts.
Credit Costs
Every action on RequestHunt costs credits from the same unified pool:
- Cached reads (search, list, topics) — free (0 credits)
- Realtime API request (live scraping, search expand) — 1 credit
- Scrape job — depth x platforms credits (e.g., depth=3 across 2 platforms = 6 credits)
The /api/v1/usage endpoint now returns your paygBalance alongside subscription usage, so you always know where you stand.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings and scroll to the Usage section
- Click Buy Credits and pick a pack
- Complete payment via Stripe (all major cards accepted)
- Credits are added instantly

What's Next
