A user traveling during Ramadan is struggling to find open restaurants during the day in Aswan and suggests a guide or list of tourist-friendly spots that remain open for lunch during this period.
Hey everyone, I’m currently traveling in Aswan. I knew about Ramadan, but I didn't realize everything would be this closed during the day. It’s 35°C, I’m exhausted, and I can't find a single open restaurant. I’m staying near the Corniche/Station area. Are there any specific "tourist-friendly" spots or hidden gems open for sit-down lunch? Is it okay to eat snacks from a grocery store if I do it discreetly? How do you guys deal with the heat and hunger before Iftar? I feel like I’m playing life on hard mode right now. Any advice would be much appreciated!
