[HomeImprovement] Create a resource for selecting drywall primers

Bathroom remodel is underway, which includes new drywall in sections and redoing the texture everywhere. I'm doing the painting myself. My installer has told me I need to use a drywall primer (which is apparently different from regular primer) first, then I can apply Kilz or a similar mold prevention primer, and finally applying paint. Any recommendations? Trying to do this on a budget, but I also believe in paying a little more to do it correctly the first time.
