User finds the terminal interface outdated and notes that the VS Code plugin doesn't support the full feature set, implying a desire for the plugin to have full functionality comparable to the terminal.
Hot take: Claude Code is trash. 1. terminal interface feels like I'm stepping back in time. (I know there is a vs code plugin, but seemed as though it doesn't support the full feature set of claude code. 2. Limits are laughable. Session limits? Weekly Limits? Monthly limits I get, but its extremely disruptive to limit like this. The first time I went to use it, I hit the session limit in about 3-4 prompts. The second time, I hit a session limit while working on 1 feature. So now I have a partially implemented feature I have to wait 6 hours to finish it. 3. Seems like Anthropic's guidance is to "continue to tweak" your agent instructions to make it work for you. For $10/mo for Github Copilot, you still get access to Anthropic's models and generous monthly limits. What am I missing? Anyone actually prefer claude code? Would love to be proven wrong on this - I unfortunately have a month left with claude code (well at least 30 mins every 6 hours - which equates to 1 hour per day of actually working time).
