Long time lurker here and appreciate all the good info over the years. Had a question for Vanguard users. I have a good amount in VUSXX but wanted to move it to VOO or VTI(i want to put in an order for a specific price), but is it possible to do this all in one fell swoop through the Vanguard website? It seems possible to do mutual fund to mutual fund through their exchange feature but not mutual fund to etf. If not, what's the quickest possible turnaround to sell the mutual fund VUSXX to buy the etfs VOO/VTI? I read a couple old posts on the bogleheads.org forums that said ot was possible in one day, but this seemed to predate a change in May 2024 that shortened the etf settlement period from T+2 to T+1. I'm not a big brain, so a step by step would be greatly appreciated.
