User wants to filter their subscriptions by categories (e.g., news, gaming, arts and crafts) to easily find content from specific channel types. They also suggest making these filters shareable/searchable as "Channel Playlists" or "Sublists" to help users discover new channels.
@TeamYouTube simple feature request here (for Premium if that helps get it created) Can you guys add custom filters for subscriptions? Like this: I'm interested in news, gaming, and arts and crafts. I want to see what channels I sub to about gaming have posted. As of now, I just have to scroll through all my subs and hope I don't miss anything. With custom filters, I can just select "gaming" and see them all right there. To add a social aspect to it, you can call them "Channel Playlists", "Sublists", or whatever and make them shareable/searchable. Someone can be like, "Man, I think I want to get into homestyle cooking", then they search homestyle cooking and find pre-made channel lists, hit "subscribe" and BOOM. Lots of creators get a sub, and the user gets what they want. Please consider this! @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTubeGaming
