I want a feature that allows me to easily convert shapes into masks in Premiere, as the current masking tools are not intuitive and require redoing work with the new methods.

I know masking has changed in premiere, but I've already made a long mask using the pen tool which made a graphic over the video. Some said to use track matte but that didn't help with the mask. Is my only option to redo it using the new way?
