Users need a tool that assists in migrating domains while ensuring proper 301 redirects are in place. This would help streamline the process of moving to a stronger domain without losing SEO value.
I launched a website a few months ago on **“THEbrandname” dot com** because the owner of **“brandname” dot com** was not willing to sell it. After setting up the website, Shopify store, email newsletter, and starting to build some domain authority, the owner basically gave me the better domain. It is not ideal timing, but I still want to migrate to the cleaner, stronger domain. The site is on WordPress and hosted through Cloudways. I am not changing anything else (no redesign, no new CMS, no major structural changes). I simply want to remove the **“THE”** from the domain as cleanly as possible. Any recommendations for tools or redirect strategy? My plan is to use Screaming Frog SEO to pull a full list of current URLs and make sure there are 301 redirects in place for all of them.
