The user's Kia EV6 built-in planner forces charging stops even when the user has set a destination arrival charge of 10% and has sufficient battery to reach the destination. The planner should allow the user to override or respect the set arrival percentage and not suggest unnecessary charging.
So I recently traded a model Y for ev6 wind long range. This is my 4th EV so I’m pretty used to the tech, charging and all the jazz. Today I did my first work commute which is about 160 miles round trip. I left the house at 90% SOC and arrived at the office with 54%. I checked ABRP for the route home and it said I would get home with 17%, well within my comfort zone. When I entered my home destination in the nav system, it kept wanting to direct me to a charger to get home, even though I have my destination arrival charge set to 10%. I could not get it to just let me drive straight home. I ended up ignoring the onboard planner and arrived home with 23%. Ev planner wanted me to stop and charge around 39% and arrive home with 38% even though I have arrive at destination at 10%. What am I doing wrong or what setting am I missing?
