I just realized in the dozens of times I've flown in my life I don't think I've ever gotten a middle seat unless I was traveling with somebody and in that case one of us got the middle seat so we could sit next to each other. It kind of makes sense though? Cause most ppl travel with someone and in that case, it would be illogical to place a solo traveler in between them. So really the only time it happens is if it's like a full plane and you're unlucky enough to be in a row of 3 or 4 solo travelers and just happen to the one in the middle?
