Users want GitHub Copilot to respect their custom rules and policies for naming, storing, and handling implementation plans, rather than defaulting to its own methods. Specifically, users should be able to dictate plan folder locations and file naming conventions, and Copilot should adhere to these user-defined settings.
GitHub Copilot users! I would love to jump on a call with you! I work on the Copilot intelligence platform team, and we're looking to chat with developers about everything back-of-the-house for our service. If you have any thoughts, feedback, or complaints about: 🔹 Context windows 🔹 Latency 🔹 Model choice and variety 🔹 Enterprise policies 🔹 Effort/reasoning levels 🔹 Anything else non-UI related ...we want to hear from you! We’re doing 25-minute user research calls, and your feedback will directly shape the future of Copilot. Want to vent or share your wishlist with our engineering team? Drop a comment below or send me a DM and I'll get you scheduled! Also, please tag/share with any Copilot users in your network who have strong opinions!
