User expresses frustration that robot vacuums fail at cleaning bathrooms and scrubbing toilets, indicating a strong desire for this new deep-cleaning functionality.
Coding with AI is like using a robot vacuum cleaner. It starts on its own, detects objects, uses zones, gives alerts, shows metrics, wipes the floor while pretending it cleaned it. It sometimes needs a login and a subscription, so won't even work well without internet. It doesn't get into corners. Can't reach behind or under furniture. Certainly not on top of the cabinets. It's great at pretending. Like some developers. Replace me? Try cleaning a bathroom with that robot. Spoiler: total failure. It would be awesome for sure, I would love to not repeat myself in every project. AI and vacuum robots has been around for decades. Still can't scrub a toilet. Next to it, someone has to train and maintain the AI. If you think engineers are obsolete, then you were never one. AI is a tool and not 42.
