I've looked through the wiki but maybe this is so basic that nobody else needs help? I've read lots of posts and comments indicating that it is very important to have trip insurance but nothing about how or where to get it. I'm assuming this is different than the optional add on at the checkout of every hotel and airline booking page, but rather something you have that covers all parts of the trip together? Is there a special travel insurance vendor or do I ask where I get my home and car insurance?
