User recalls an issue with an old PS1 emulator where Final Fantasy VIII had no visible cursor, making battles difficult to control. This implies a need for modern emulators to handle such display elements correctly.
This emulator makes me feel nostalgic, as I can still recall getting to my cousin's place to play Final Fantasy VIII with him. Aside from video artifacts, hitching audio and framedrops during battles at times, the game ran beautifully. EDIT: He just reminded me, the game had no visible cursor! That made battles harder to control.. No, we didn't knew that Eidos ported the game to PC.
