User, a professional musician, wants Suno to more accurately and consistently interpret uploaded arranged tracks, maintain parts during edits, and avoid de-syncs or random generations, functioning more like an AI-powered DAW.
As a professional musician, I have been using Suno mostly as a tool to aid my composing. Meaning, I upload my fully arranged tracks and try and observe how Suno will render the parts. %80 percent of the time Suno can manage to keep all the parts as they are and adds little embellishments or counter melodies here and there, sometimes it might even add whole interludes or small sections. Or it interprets the harmony totally wrong and I might be listening to the same melody in a completely different scale, even with different chords and missing pieces. It is an inspirational tool as it is, giving me new ideas. Especially with drum parts, as they are the parts that are usually mostly left to the drummers' liking. It's a good reference to show your drummer. However, if I just want the accuracy and try to create a polished produced version of a fully arranged composition, it feels almost impossible. Even with the studio, it fails to stay true to the parts and recreate parts in a correct way. Every small edit takes very long, de-syncs and totally random generations starts to happen. It falls apart pretty quickly and feels like a waste of time. I have yet to create anything. My question is, since from 2026, even this almost-usable feature won't be available anymore, are there alternative projects out there that go for this? Being a tool for professional musicians? Uploading your own arrange music and using AI as a DAW?
