The user desires a web version of the SnapCard app to enable bulk scanning of sports cards, which is currently difficult on mobile.
Been lurking on this sub for a while and always see people asking how to value their collections. Last month I inherited a shoebox full of my dad's old baseball cards from the 80s and 90s – we're talking hundreds of cards with no idea what's junk and what's gold. I spent hours manually searching eBay sold listings before giving up. Tried a couple apps but the recognition was hit or miss. Then a buddy at my LCS mentioned SnapCard and honestly it's been a game changer for organizing everything. **What I actually like about it:** * **The sports card scanner is stupid fast** – just snap a photo of any baseball card, basketball card, or football card and it identifies it almost instantly. Saved me so much time going through that shoebox. * **Real-time price guide pulls from actual sold data** – not just random asking prices. It aggregates from eBay, Goldin, Heritage Auctions, and PWCC so you're seeing what cards actually sell for. * **The PSA grading estimates are surprisingly accurate** – I was skeptical about the AI grading analysis, but I sent in 5 cards to PSA and the app predicted 4 of them exactly right (missed one by half a grade). Also does Beckett grading and SGC grading estimates if that's your preference. * **Collection manager actually works** – I can finally track my card collection value over time instead of random spreadsheets. **Cards it supports:** Works with pretty much everything I've thrown at it – baseball cards, basketball cards, football cards, hockey cards, even my kid's Pokemon cards and some MTG cards I had lying around. Basically covers sports cards and trading card games. **Not perfect though:** * Vintage cards pre-1970 can be spotty on recognition * Wish there was a web version for bulk scanning * Some of the market trends data could be more detailed **Who it's good for:** If you're a casual collector with a pile of cards you need to sort through, or you want to know if something's worth submitting for grading before paying $30+ per card, it's solid. The card grading analysis alone has probably saved me from wasting money on submissions that wouldn't grade well. They claim 50K+ collectors and 99% accuracy – I can't verify those numbers but my experience has been good. Anyone else using it? Curious what your results have been with the grading estimates. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out: [trysnapcard.com](http://trysnapcard.com) or you can grab it directly from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/snapcard-sports-card-scanner/id6757433755) *Not affiliated, just a collector who got tired of manual lookups. Happy to answer questions if anyone's on the fence.*
