Allow players who missed the wipe opt-in window due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., power outages) to have their accounts reset retroactively.
Hi Raiders / Embark team, I’m not posting this to complain — I’m honestly asking for help, because this situation was completely out of my control and it hit right in the one moment where you \*must\* be online. ARC Raiders has been my main game since release. I’ve played \~200 hours, and I’ve been doing a long personal “marathon” challenge on stream: I track my total time and only pause it when I sleep. Right now I’m at 4,588+ hours tracked (over 6 months). It sounds crazy, but it’s become a big part of my routine and my community. I knew the wipe / Expedition opt-in was coming. I prepared seriously: \- I finished all the Expedition-related quests/projects \- I saved up 6,000,000+ in-game currency \- I planned everything around the reset And then real life happened. On Dec 18, Odesa had a major blackout after repeated strikes by russia damaged local power infrastructure (distribution transformers). I was without electricity for almost 7 days. For several days we also had no water and no heating. In that week, pressing a button in a game wasn’t even a thought — we were just trying to get through it. Today the power finally came back, and I opened the game with relief… only to realize the opt-in window ended and the wipe happened without me. I missed it simply because I couldn’t physically log in. Now the game feels like it lost its meaning for me until the next wipe window. After months of preparation, it’s heartbreaking to be locked out by a real-world blackout caused by russian attacks. So I’m asking, with respect: Is there any chance you could do a one-time personal wipe / Expedition reset for my account, or retroactively apply my opt-in? I completely understand if it’s not possible or if there are policy/technical limits — but I had to try, because I genuinely did everything right except being online during a week when my city had no power.
