I run a small business and have been reviewing how we handle payroll. Right now we manage it in-house. It works, but it does take time each month, especially when handling tax filings and keeping records accurate. I am considering whether outsourcing payroll would reduce the workload, or if it would just add another expense without much benefit. For those who have outsourced payroll, did it make a clear difference in your time management or accuracy? Did it allow you to focus more on running the business?
