A very small non-profit with under 500 donors needs a highly affordable or free platform for both fundraising and email/newsletter campaigns. They are looking for either an all-encompassing solution or two separate low-cost platforms that integrate well.

I just started working part-time as a development and communications assistant for a VERY small nonprofit. The organization has been around for 50 years, but I'm only their second employee after the Executive Director. In the past, they've primarily received donations from a very passionate donor base typically centered around churches (it used to be a ministry and now identifies as a 501(c)(3). There are no online donation forms, and they don't have an email or fundraising platform. They JUST got Google nonprofit, but we haven't set it up yet. They want my assistance in finding a highly affordable (or free) fundraising platform and email/newsletter platform so we can start using campaigns and move forward digitally. I've used Constant Contact in the past, but I'm not very familiar with fundraising platforms, as I haven't worked on the development side before; I was purely in Communications and Grants. I'm familiar with Givebutter, but are there any other low-cost, all-encompassing options? Or two separate platforms (fundraising and email/campaigns) that, when combined, would fit my needs, but still only need a shoestring budget? They have fewer than 500 donors in their database to give you an idea of how tiny they are. ETA: Ended up purchasing BetterUnite. Curious about people who have used it?
