The user dislikes the 'computational hallucinated mush' in modern smartphone photos and would prefer the noise of older phones. They want a setting to reduce or disable the computational processing that causes this effect.
I was looking at photos made by high end smartphones like Vivo, Oppo, Samsung and Iphone. When zoomed in all of them feature this uncanny computational hallucinated mush instead of noise like in the older phones. I understand that due to physical limitations we can only improve these cameras computationally, but still I would rather prefer good old noise of a small sensor rather than hallucinated details. Kinda makes me wanna ditch the smartphone photography altogether and just use a dedicated camera more.
