ctively working on analysis on tech / software related positions from ‘2026-01-12’ to today, listed on databricks, and noticed a weird trend. My dataset showed 162 of 320 (50.625%) total positions listed were posted with a work location in the United States. TODAY only 26 of the 123 positions (21.13%) actively listed are located in the US. A 29 point decline is notable, and my first thoughts were this was a signal that Trump’s $100,00 h1b visa hike is not working as expected.
