The user finds it confusing that xTool uses "Smart Desktop Laser Cutter and Engraver" as the sender name in emails and on credit card statements instead of the actual company name, MakeBlock. They request that the company use its real name for better clarity.
This is a request to u/xToolOfficial and u/xToolAda to share with their business/marketing folks: Please don't SEO-optimize your email Sender name and Credit card processing company name. On some (not all) email messages from xTool, the Sender is **Smart Desktop Laser Cutter and Engraver | xTool**. And on credit card statements, purchases from xTool show up as **SMART DESKTOP LASER CUTTER AND ENGRAVER XTOOL**. I get that web site page titles are often optimized to display search key words first, before the actual brand or company name. Fine. So in that context, using some descriptive keyword-laden title like **Smart Desktop Laser Cutter and Engraver | xTool** as the [xtool.com](http://xtool.com) page title is common. \[That's not actually what it is now, though.\] But in email, this just makes it hard to quickly identify messages from xTool when scanning through an inbox. And on credit card bills, it's just ridiculous. I would almost have expected the credit card business name to be MakeBlock—the actual name of the company. So...WHY? Why are you using your SEO title as your company name in Shopify? It just doesn't make any sense. Please reconsider changing the company name/description that appears on customer statements and email messages. This is just unnecessarily confusing customer experience issue.
