I used Malwarebytes and HitmanPro. Malwarebytes caught the obvious and HitmanPro found the hidden files. Unfortunately, HitmanPro does not work for external hardrives. I decided to use Microsoft Defender, but I'm slightly paranoid. My logo looks different from what I'm seeing online. Is this what it's supposed to look like? Part of the malware I received was having my web browser's search engine hacked... It tried using a pseudo yahoo logo and the software that downloaded onto my pc looked similar to McAfee.
