User desires smartwatches to have significantly longer battery life, similar to traditional watches (lasting "literal years"), specifically so that the ability to tell time is not beholden to frequent charging.
Everything i've seen people do with it you can kinda do on your phone (Which take like maybe 5 seconds to get out of your pocket). The only thing i can see a niche for is fitness tracking, but get a fitbit if that's the case which is a damn sight cheaper Also a watch that you have charge every couple of days seems like a step backward for me. I don't want my ability to tell the time beholden to a battery charge level (Yes i'm aware watch batteries die too, but those last for literal years) I just don't get it ...
