User wants sit/stand controls located on the front edge of the desk rather than on the top surface. This is desired for better accessibility and aesthetics, especially when the desk is used as a workbench and the top surface needs to be clear.
My office doubles as my private hair studio, and I'm making some design changes to give it a more polished vibe. I like the look of 4-leg desks like [this one from Branch ](https://www.branchfurniture.com/collections/desks/products/four-leg-standing-desk?cjdata=MXxOfDB8WXww&cjevent=b8ab0cf4d2f011f0816b007b0a1cb829&cm_mmc=CJ-_-5513721-_-3512519-_-www.branchfurniture.com&utm_source=Affiliate&utm_content=Wirecutter+Inc.&utm_term=www.branchfurniture.com)or [this one from Autonomous](https://www.autonomous.ai/standing-desks/autonomous-desk-levitate?product_url_sequence_code=6433_3), but my husband is a woodworker so I'll have him make the top (I'm actually happy to buy one premade, but I haven't found the right combination of features- Wood top (not cheap wood-look laminate,) bullnose edge, sit/stand controls on the front rather than the top, and a slot in the desk top for cable management. What recommendations do you have for a 4-leg base? I've found [this one from liftsync](https://liftsync.us/products/liftsync-quad-pro-frame?variant=50460686188827) which I almost bought, but I don't think it will work to add a keyboard tray because of the thickness of the frame. I need to be able to completely clear the desktop because I also use my desk as a workbench, so I need to be able to keep everything underneath. Does it exist, and is it going to cost me my entire budget for just the desk frame? (I'm aiming for under $700)
