Users have reported that Vegas Pro crashes when they update their graphics card drivers. A request for improved stability with new graphics updates would help prevent these issues.
Hi all! Little backstory, I was in college for Film production 8 years ago and I had always used Adobe products (back when you could buy the software and not the monthly subscription). I'm planning on returning to school to finish my degree this fall. So I'm buying new cameras, lights, etc to prepare. But now it's coming down to editing software. Vegas pro 23 is $270 rn but looking at reviews and comments about Vegas Pro 22 and 21 I saw a lot of people say when they updated their graphics card drivers the software began to crash. If this pattern continues to happen, I don't want to have to buy/upgrade the software each year. On the flip side, $780 a year for adobe's creative cloud is kinda ridiculous. I understand I get access to 25 different software but when I'll only be using 5 or 6 that seems kinda crazy, even though it is convenient it's all bundled. I want to hear everyone's thoughts before deciding. I'd like to stick with Adobe since that's what I'm familiar with but that's a crazy amount of money imo.
