The user is looking for advice on setting up a PDF portfolio and suggests that Adobe could offer better guidance and templates for portfolio creation.
Howdy! I’m sure a few people have already asked this, but I was wondering if anyone had advice for setting up a PDF portfolio. I’ll list off my questions so maybe they’re easier to answer. I’m currently in art school (MooreCAD in Philly) in my jr year, and as part of my Professional Development 1 course, we’re creating various portfolios, including a PDF and a print version. I’m planning to reuse the PDF as print if I’d somehow need to bring something to an interview. I know it’s good prep for our required internships, but it’s a lot with not all that much guidance. 1. What pages do you recommend including beyond each project? 2. Do you have a set grid you prefer? 3. How in depth should project descriptions be? 4. We’re recommended to include a bit from our resume, but not the entire thing. What’s actually important to have at the end of the portfolio? 5. I’d love any and all advice you have to give outside these questions, too! Thanks so much! Unrelated, but is anyone else having huge issues with their MacBooks running anything Adobe after the Tahoe update? If I have anything else running, even just my Finder, it’s always crashing my MacBook.
