I volunteer for a non-profit. Each year, we offer a plant sale through our squarespace website. We use their commerce option. Once folks buy trees from us, we visit their address to see if the site will work for their chosen trees. If it doesn't, we have to refund their money and eat the transaction fees. Is it possible to use a third party service that allows a pre-order or pay holding option so that we don't process the customer's payment until their planting site is approved? Ideally, we would collect their payment information but not process payment until their planting site is approved. I would appreciate any suggestions! Thank you.
