The user mentions needing to charge the scooter every two days to keep the battery above 20%. Displaying the current battery percentage would allow for more precise monitoring and planning.

I’ll focus on what I think are the most important points if you’re considering it: **battery life, performance, and stability.** Xiaomi claims this electric scooter can reach **28 miles of range**, based on a test done on flat terrain at **9 mph** with a **165 lb rider**. Personally, I haven’t come close to that range. That’s understandable though, because I always ride in **Super mode**, which reaches **20 mph**, and I ride on a variety of terrain. Even though I weigh **154 lb**, my real-world range has been **about 17–19 miles**. That’s not a lot compared to some other scooters in this price range. Fortunately, my daily commute isn’t that long (**about 6 miles per day**), so I can charge it every **two days**, making sure the battery doesn’t drop below **20%**. If the scooter were **de-restricted** and could go faster than **20 mph**, the range would probably drop to **around 15–16 miles**. As for **performance**, I don’t have many complaints. This is my **first electric scooter**, and its **800 W peak power** is pretty good for a budget scooter. You can definitely feel the power when climbing bridges or hills, although it **won’t maintain 20 mph while going uphill**. When it comes to **stability**, this is where the scooter really stands out. I’ve never felt like I was losing balance on it. The **dual suspension** is noticeable. It’s also a **heavy scooter (almost 60 lb)**, which probably helps with stability. The **12-inch tires** also make a big difference when hitting potholes or riding on gravel. That said, the **drum brake** works decently, but it’s **not comparable to a disc brake**. During **hard braking**, the scooter can **slip slightly** or the braking may not feel as immediate. My rating—keeping in mind this is my **first scooter and I’m not an expert**—would be **around 7.4/10**. I’d be interested to hear your opinion. For those who have tried scooters **in this price range**, how do you think this one compares?
