I am planning to move a company to the ERPNext Cloud, but during my trial evaluation, I discovered that the current Chart of Accounts structure in ERPNext is incompatible with the Iraqi Unified Accounting System (النظام المحاسبي الموحد). In Iraq, the accounting structure is strictly organized into 4 primary numerical classes: 1.Assets (الموجودات) 2.Liabilities & Equity (المطلوبات ومصادر التمويل) 3.Expenses (الاستخدامات) 4.Revenues (الموارد) The core problem is that ERPNext mandates a 5-root structure (Asset, Liability, Equity, Income, Expense). Specifically, the Iraqi system groups "Equity" (Class 22) under "Liabilities" (Class 2). When attempting to upload a standard Iraqi Chart of Accounts, the system throws errors such as "Please add Root Account for - Equity," which forces a deviation from the official Iraqi statutory requirements.
