User is confused about the safety of daisy-chaining power strips and wants clear guidelines and safety features to prevent overloading.
People always say that you should distribute power strips over multiple wall plugs in a room, as if all those wall plugs don't converge to a single wire anyways. So it shouldn't matter whether you daisy chain them because it always converges to a single wire in the end. Besides, all power strips should be rated for 16 amps and include power surge protection, the circuit breaker also trips at 16 amps so there should never be any danger. Right?
