Creators are being demonetized without warning or clear, specific reasons, making it impossible to understand or rectify the issue. The request is for YouTube to provide advance warnings and detailed explanations for demonetization decisions.
I’m actually losing my mind right now. I just got hit with the demonetization hammer for "Inauthentic Content" and "Mass Produced Content." The kicker? I barely post two videos a month. In what universe is 24 videos a year considered "mass-produced"? If I were churning out 10 low-effort shorts a day, I’d get it. But I spend weeks on each project. The Situation: Sub Count: 50k (and growing). Transparency: I am 100% transparent. I clearly label my videos as AI-generated in the title, the thumbnail, the description, and I even check the official "Altered Content" disclosure box. I followed every rule they have. The Quality: I use AI tools, but it’s high-quality, curated content—not the brain-rotting "AI slop" with flickering images and robotic voices. My 50k subs are there because they actually like the storytelling. The "Shadow" Strike: No warning, no email, nothing. They just flipped the switch. How can they claim I’m "mass producing" when there are channels posting daily that are doing just fine? It feels like being honest about using AI just puts a target on your back. At the very least, give us a warning email a week or two in advance. Tell us exactly what the mistake is so we have a chance to fix it or explain the process. Just cutting off a creator's livelihood overnight with a vague "mass produced" label when the upload frequency says the exact opposite is insane. Has anyone else dealt with this specific flag despite being fully transparent? Is there any way to actually get a human to look at an appeal, or am I just cooked?
