Do you know what I find frustrating? Software engineers shouldn't have to become data engineers to ship AI agents. But increasingly, they are being forced to do so. Teams that just wanted to build an agent that automates customer support or handles procurement now spend weeks debugging API pagination, managing OAuth tokens, and writing custom ETL scripts. This is backwards.
