A user is curious if Genspark (an AI tool) can be adapted to generate presentations that adhere to specific brand guidelines or incorporate branded elements.
I’ve been using ChatGPT for over two years, and I’ve also tried other AI tools like Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, and Mistral Chat. While they’re great, I often find myself thinking, ‘This would be even better if it could do X or Y.’ That’s why I’ve put together a wishlist of features that could turn these already powerful tools into even smarter co-pilots and help users like me work more efficiently. Smart prompt enhancement - Some custom GPTs and even ChatGPT itself can help refine your prompts, but it usually takes extra effort. You have to ask it to enhance your input using a specific framework. What if ChatGPT could do this automatically? Imagine typing a basic prompt, and before responding, the AI suggests an improved version with more detail and clarity, like a quick upgrade to your original idea. You could then choose to use the enhanced prompt or stick with yours. For an even smoother workflow, there could be a toggle switch to enable auto-enhance, so every time you hit enter, ChatGPT quietly polishes your prompt behind the scenes before generating a response. Some AI image tools (like REVE) already do this well, turning simple prompts into richer, more detailed versions automatically. Such feature will certainly save time and make the interactions much better and sticky. Resizeable chat window - Right now, the chatbox feels a bit cramped, especially when working with long prompts or pasted long text. Scrolling up and down to check everything is not good experience wise, and it’s easy to miss details in a tiny window. It’d be great if AI tools let you drag and resize the chat box, just like adjusting a window on your desktop. That way, you could expand it for big prompts and shrink it back when you don’t need the extra space. This simple upgrade can make writing and editing prompts so much smoother! Quick access to long chats or a way to pin important chats - Right now, all my chats, whether short or long, get stacked in the sidebar. But when a conversation stretches across multiple pages (like deep research threads or ongoing projects), finding and reopening them takes extra clicks. Yes, I can create folders within ChatGPT but it’d be helpful if AI tools could automatically flag or let me pin lengthy chats for quick access, maybe in a "Recent Long Chats" section or with a bookmark feature. That way, I could jump back into my most in-depth discussions without digging through the sidebar. Ability to create usable, plug and play slides - I recently tried Genspark’s AI slides tool. You feed it text or documents, and it spits out polished, nearly finished slide decks (PDFs) with great formatting, charts, and visuals. The result is about 85-90% production-ready, saving tons of time. ChatGPT claims it can help with slides too, suggesting layouts, visuals, and even offering downloadable PPTX files. But in reality, the output is often basic and underwhelming. It’d be amazing if ChatGPT could match tools like Genspark by, Delivering visually rich, near-final slide decks (not just rough outlines) Supporting Google Slides exports (not just PowerPoint) Adding smart charts, graphics, and speaker notes without extra manual work. Wish I could type “Turn this report into a client-ready slide deck” and get a professional, presentation-worthy output in one click. Web search + document analysis - Right now, when I upload a file to ChatGPT, the search button stays grayed out, meaning the AI can only pull answers from the document itself. While "Deep Research" can be toggled on, it’s usage-limited even for Plus subscribers and I would like to use it ONLY when needed. I really wish that ChatGPT would allow users to toggle web search ON/OFF while analyzing files and then combine document insights with web knowledge for richer answers. Imagine asking ChatGPT about a research paper, it could cross-check facts from the document and pull in the latest web data to fill gaps This small tweak would make file chats smarter and more versatile—without extra steps. Ability to search inside longform conversations - Right now, ChatGPT lets you search across all chats for keywords – but what about finding something within a massive conversation? The current workaround (browser's Ctrl+F) is clunky, it highlights matches everywhere, even in UI elements. What we need is a dedicated "Search this chat" feature that only scans the current conversation. It can offer enhanced features like: Match highlighting with scroll-to navigation Filters for user/AI messages only Option to search for phrases or concepts This will be useful for long form conversations and checking previous AI responses for consistency. So, that's my little wishlist! I am not a UI or feature expert and these might seem like specific tweaks, but based on two years of using tools like ChatGPT, I believe features like these could really iron out some friction points and make these tools become an even more intuitive and powerful co-pilot.
