User mentions that they feel YNAB requires too much work to use properly and would like better automation features to make budgeting less time-consuming.
I’ve been using YNAB for about a year now, and honestly, I have learned so much from it. My mindset has shifted a lot, but I think I’ve hit a wall. With my mindset changed, I feel like I’m not benefiting much from it anymore. Also, the price is quite steep ($109), I have to reauthorize my accounts almost every week, and new features are really meh. On top of that, it is just so much work to use it properly, only to find out that I probably would have done the same thing without the app. Has anyone else reached the one-year mark and felt this way? I want to stay on a budget, but I need something that doesn't require this much work. I would love it if we had better automation features. Any advice on how to make this a little bit less time consuming? Or if you’ve felt this struggle too, what was your solution?
