TicNote seems more AI focused. I keep seeing people talk about the aha moment highlights and how recordings can turn into a small podcast style recap, which sounds kind of cool for everyday conversations or random ideas. Plaud looks more straightforward and minimal, more like a traditional recorder focused on clean transcription without too many extra features. Trying to choose between something fun and smart vs something simple and safe.
