A user suggests creating a personal assistant chatbot integrated with Slack that can automate tasks based on user conversations. For example, if a user mentions needing a vacation, the bot would gather necessary information and send out the request, ensuring that the process is streamlined and user-friendly.
Hi Reddit people, I've recently built SaaS tool that it integrated in Google chat and MS teams. It's basically a chatbot but.. It's full department customized (every departmet has it's own chatbot), works with file uploads directly in chat or added to knowledge base (RAG). BYOK - so companies don't waste money on markedup tokens or limits if there is subscription only. And recently it evolved into something new. It can create automations based on the conversations. Let's say you need a vacation, forgot where to request it. Simply write in google chat - "Hey i need a vacation for about 2 weeks" AI will gather all the info needed for a request and it sends it out. AI can't halucinate things since everything is approved by user. And before that, Admins selects what info must be gathered . Strict rules - strict guardrails. The idea is basically everyone in working in a company get's their personal assistant to make job easier. Not making automations for workplace itself so it takes job away from the workers. Question : In your company has there been indication that such SaaS could be useful. What are the biggest concerns about such tools and chatbots in general?
