I’m wondering if anyone knows of books that are similar to Stephen Kings The Stand. Here’s what I liked about it. \-the epic quality of it. Many characters and storylines overlapping and converging. \-apocalyptic but hopeful. Obviously there will be bad actors at the end of the world, but there will be good ones too! \-the strange empty feeling of traversing the country with most people gone. I liked the little technical moments that made me think “is that how I would solve that problem?” \-descriptions of rebuilding society as they did in boulder/vegas. What does it look like to re-make society from the ground up. I’ve been reading Swan Song by Robert McCammon, and I like it, but it’s got a bit of a mean streak. Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you!!!
