Even though it is a few more steps I highly recommend the second method. Using the voice memo first will ensure you won’t lose your recording transcript if the shortcut goes buggy in a long recording. I just use a “copy clipboard - ChatGPT - export to clipboard” steps and put it where I want or a second shortcut to put the clipboard into a note or other app. I also found it useful to add a little sentence like “only show the bullet points” or “only show the summary” so that it doesn’t include the little intro and ending statements chatGPT adds.
