I'm struggling to export images in CLUT color mode for PlayStation avatars. It would be helpful if Photoshop had a clearer way to handle this color mode.
Hey everyone, I'm working on a project making avatars for the PlayStation network. Just profile pictures of a game I do community and social management for and I've run into a problem I'm struggling to understand. I'm working mostly in Affinity Photo. There are six different sizes we have to upload, 5 of them are just RGBA PNGs. Super easy, I understand that. The sixth one I'm struggling with says the color mode must be CLUT. Whenever I try to look this up I just get results for color look up table and I can't figure out how to export this image with the color mode it's requiring. The exact specs for the file are 64x64, PNG, with transparency, CULT color mode, 8 bit-depth, color type(PNG) 3. I'm admittedly pretty novice with graphic design and have mostly done the basics like YouTube thumbnails until now so color modes have never really been a factor I've had to deal with.
