Architect here: If the wall thickness and window sizes are estimated correctly does not matter at all. Any student can draw imaginary stuff, that is quite realistic. Room sizes and partitions is something that depends on the available space, regulations and budget, and is based on real products (ex: door model XY). Sorry to disappoint, but there is no good usecase for the example that was given.
