OpenClaw (formerly Moltbot, formerly Clawdbot) has been getting a lot of attention since last weekend - because it truly resonates with a lot of people: Connecting messy data sources… and letting AI handle the grunt work. We have a similar setup (although we don't opensource ours cause I'm kinda embarrassed by my own code 😅 ) - but more importantly, it’s genuinely useful. Simple. Practical. Built for real work - We have Claude Code running our monthly payroll. As a startup, we can't afford a fulltime HR person doing this - but honestly nothing Claude Code can't solve. Payroll isn't complicated (no offence to HR professionals). It's a task with well defined rules, straightforward and repetitive steps, easy to validate outcome. Our internal setup takes care of: generating bulk template for monthly GIRO, preparing payslip, and export the csv file to the banking app. Also the CPF website automatically does the calculation (still trying to find ways to bypass the Corppass login so that Claude can take over the step too). This is exactly what we do for our customers - automate their workflows that are boring, manual, and unnecessarily time consuming. We don't just talk about AI. We dogfood our own capability every day and testing what actually works in the real world. P/S: If anyone has any idea how we can bypass the Corppass login, please drop me a dm.
