User finds version control helpful for no-code development, mentioning tools like v0 and Luvable, to easily revert to earlier working versions.
Have you been thinking about trying out AI tools for "vibe coding" / prototyping but don't know where to start? Yesterday my team did a "vibe prototyping" session where within 30 minutes of using these tools they made amazing prototypes with just a bit of guidance from me. There was so much energy and excitement for how this will change our roles as we can explore concepts and ideas much faster! So here are the tips I shared with them: 1. Don't try all the tools - just go with one and play with it for awhile. v0.dev (builds a full app with all the code) or magicpatterns.com (focuses just on UI for prototyping) are two that I recommend. 2. Start with a relatively simple prompt + screenshots of the surface to build the "base" of the area you want to prototype in and then add more features / changes after. I'll put an example in the comments. 3. It's good to give the LLM feedback similar to a conversation you'd have with someone on your team - e.g. things you like, things you don't like, examples from other apps that you want it to be similar to Anyone else prototyping with AI and have tips and tricks to share?
