Validation experiment for parent issue #312 — **Problem: Family parents can't tell if children have fed or walked the family pet today**. --- ### Hypothesis Family parents in households with 2+ school-age children (ages 8–16) assigned daily pet-care duties experience recurring daily uncertainty about whether the pet has been fed or walked. They rely on inadequate workarounds (whiteboard, group chat, verbal check-ins) that children quickly stop using. If shown an app with a real-time "who did it + when" audit log and parent push alerts when a feeding/walk window passes without a child check-in, they will sign up and pay a small monthly fee. --- ### Method **1. Interviews (10–15 parents)** - Recruit via r/Parenting and r/dogs - Target: households with ≥ 2 children aged 8–16 AND a dog or cat - 20–30 min video/voice calls; 2-week window **2. Landing page + waitlist** - Single-page site describing shared real-time pet-task log + parent push alerts - One organic post each in r/dogs an
