User describes creating a 'Granny' layer to supervise an AI agent ('Ralph'), providing persistent memory and oversight. This helped identify necessary code changes, suggesting a need for built-in features for memory retention and supervisory control within AI coding agents.
This is great. I immediately started using it. It works fantastic. I added another layer to it. I'm calling it Granny. Essentially, Ralph is working under Granny's supervision, and so it allows Claude to stay on top of the work that Ralph is doing. And so, we're getting all the benefits of Ralph with the persistent memory of Claude. On the very first instance of use, Granny was able to identify some changes that needed to be made in the existing code to deal with something that Ralph was doing. It was sweet.
