A user is looking for the best way to write gratitude notes for each wedding guest and is seeking a feature that could help streamline this process, possibly by providing templates or suggestions for joint letters for couples.
We are planning on writing a notes of gratitude for each guest who attends our wedding. Now that we are officially in the very beginning of planning, I'm thinking more critically about this idea and wanted to make sure I understand the best way to make this work. My main question: 1. Is having the letters at their table setting going to look messy or make people uncomfortable? I've also seen the idea of having them with the escort cards, but that seems equally as messy to me. 2. What is the best way to handle couples? We have a few attendees with partners who we have heard good things about but have never met. Originally the plan was to just have one letter per person, but should we write a joint letter to couples instead? 3. For shared friends, would it be best to do two letters (one from my partner and one from me)? Or do we just pick who writes for who and we both sign? I imagine a lot of them will include references to specific memories, so us both signing may be kind of weird for a few of them too. To give a little context, writing letters for guests is one of the first decisions we made. I understand I'm getting a bit into the weeds but I really want to make sure we handle this in a way that makes it the best possible guest experience. Thanks for your thoughts!
