User wants to know if there are options to request that family members remove their photos from Facebook and Instagram, as they prefer to have no public photos of themselves online.
I am still in my 20s, so I grew up in the rise of Facebook etc, where everyone around me is programmed to post their entire life online. I was like this too. In the last couple years, I've realised, why do this? Why am I just putting everything in public view? With the rise of AI and how it can manipulate information and photos, I now prefer to have no public photos of myself online. I've respectfully asked my family to remove the photos of me from their Facebook, Instagram, as they have quite a few including child photos. As I expected, I've gotten a lot of pushback from them, as they don't understand the stance I am coming from, which is fine, I'm not going to be able to convince them otherwise. Do I have any options to go through Facebook support etc and request that photos of myself be removed? Do I have other options?
