Many solo travelers express the need for tailored travel insurance options that cater specifically to their unique needs and risks, such as emergency medical coverage and trip cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
I posted a few weeks ago on another sub asking if it was strange to go on a solo trip without my husband. We love to travel together, but his schedule changed, and so it’s hard to go anywhere together right now. Everyone was very supportive and encouraged me to go for it, and I finally did!! I took an overnight trip to the beach, and just did things that I enjoy doing. I absolutely love traveling with my husband, my mom, friends, our family, etc… but, it was so freeing not having to consider the needs of literally anyone else! I went shopping, visited the botanical garden, walked on the beach, sat in the sand and read, spent time in the hot tub, sampled almost everything they had to offer at the farmers market. It was just such a lovely time, and I feel so refreshed. These are just things I enjoy doing, and I wouldn’t have spent the time doing this if I had anyone else with me because I would’ve worried they’d be bored or think it was all so lame. I almost cancelled at the last minute because it sort of felt unnecessary, but I think this was actually very refreshing. So glad I stuck with it, I’m already looking for my next trip.
