A user mistakenly sent money to the wrong person and wants CashApp to provide a way to reverse such transactions easily.
So I’ve been using Cash App for years. Anyway I always send my rent payment to my landlord through them. This time I realized the money had been sent to someone else instead of them. Mind you I don’t this person at all. We’ve never had any transactions before so I was confused as to how this happened. I contacted Cash App and they told me there’s no way to reverse it and the only thing to do was request the money back from this person. Which is the first thing I did as soon as I realized the mistake. They are saying also I have to wait for the dispute team to contact me.
