User praises a tool (Youcanic UCAN-II-C) for its ability to read every module, provide meaningful live data, clear ABS lights, offer Topology maps, bi-directional functions, special functions, adaptions, resets, and coding, all without yearly subscription fees. They also value US-based, fast, and helpful support, contrasting it with other brands that have fees and poor support.
After weeks of late night research, watching review after review, and way too many spreadsheet rows, I finally pulled the trigger. I was leaning toward Autel and Launch at first but they wanted yearly fees for updates and seemed to nickel and dime you. Thinkcar, Xtool and a few others looked nice but their support felt like a black hole, slow and mostly based in China so getting help took forever. I bought a cheap one off a marketplace to test the waters and it read a few codes but was flaky and wound not pull airbag codes, so I returned it and went with Youcanic UCAN-II-C. I didn't see a lot of reviews on it and I think part of it may be because they don't' sell on Amazon. Tbh best decision yet. This thing can read every module on my car and my old truck, showed live data that actually made sense, and helped me clear a stubborn ABS light after I watched one of their repair videos. It also comes with Topology map. Has bidriectinal functions and speical functions and adaptions and resets with some coding as well. I saved a weekend wait and a garage bill, and kinda felt legit fixing it myself. Also the only thing I regret is not buying it sooner. Based on my comparison it offers capabiles that you would pay around $1000 to $1500 on a Autel or Topdon unit. What I have found recently about Youcnaic which I didn't really know at first is that their support is US based and fast, usually replies same day by email and you can get phone help for the tougher stuff, plus they have a ton of how to videos and repair tutorials that actually walk you through [fixes.It](http://fixes.It) handles up to F350 and 3500 GM trucks including diesels. What do you guys use and how in depth is it? Also do you pay subscription or for updates?
